Hi to all,
Can anyone explain to me the principle of X-RAY?
X-rays are a type of high-energy electromagnetic radiation. They pass through the body and are absorbed to different extents by various tissues. Dense tissues like bones absorb more X-rays and appear white on the resulting image, while less dense tissues absorb fewer X-rays and appear darker. This differential absorption creates an image that helps in diagnosing medical conditions.
When high-speed electrons collide with a metal, electromagnetic radiation with a short wavelength and great penetrating power is released. X-rays are the source of this radiation. X-rays work on this premise. When high-energy electrons strike heavy elements, the internal electrons of the atom are agitated, resulting in the formation of this ray.
